To paraphrase one of the greatest lines in cinema history...
‘As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a writer’
That came true in 2009, and since then I have been living and writing in London, spending my time working across various areas of media – from Film & TV, to advertising and publishing, to video games and interactive content.
Most of my time is spent writing Director’s treatments for commercials and music videos, generating and developing ideas for pitches, and writing scripts for Film/TV.
If any of this is what you are looking for, then read on...
I have written over 300 treatments and pitches for production companies across the UK, Europe and America, ranging from commercials, music videos, web series, and shorts, to long form documentaries, films, and television shows.
These treatments and pitches have led to award-winning work for some of the best directors and companies in the business. A full list of clients and projects can be found on my CV.
My services are based on discretion. I will not share details of the project or process, or make available the final treatment, film, or any project asset. The images on this site are all from commercials I’ve worked on, and have been shared with the consent of the directors and production companies involved.
I have been writing scripts and prose since I was a teenager. From screenplays for feature films and TV shows, to short stories and even the occasional novella.
This is the type of writing I am passionate about, and I am delighted to work on these types of projects with clients across all avenues of media.
Recent projects include creating and writing a 15 page outline for a 10-part sci-fi web series, including the full script for episode one; generating multiple ideas for the E3 launch trailer for the next instalment of a multi award-winning video game franchise; writing the voiceover for a 90-second Irish-fable inspired origin story for a whiskey brand; and developing and writing the synopsis for the debut feature film of one of my commercial director clients.
